Using Importing Labs and Patient Records from Workflow
PawthosX gives you two ways to import outside records directly from Workflow: a quick document import for individual results, or a full record import when you receive a patient's history from another clinic.

Import a Lab or Document
Use Lab Import when you have an individual document that needs to be added to the current patient record.
Open the patient in Workflow.
Select Import.
Drag and drop the PDF into the Document Import area, or click to choose a file.
Upload the document.
This is best for:
Lab reports
Radiology reports
Imaging results
Other individual clinical documents
The document is imported into the patient's existing record.
Import a Full Patient Record
Use Open record import when you're bringing over a complete patient history from another veterinary clinic.
Open the patient in Workflow.
Select Import.
Click Open record import.
Drag the record pack into the upload area, or click to select your files.
Select Analyze documents.
PawthosX will process the uploaded PDFs and images and guide you through:
Upload β Analyze β Triage β Review β Done
PawthosX reads the record pack and organizes the information for you. Before anything is saved, you'll have the opportunity to review and approve the imported information.
Blank forms and consent pages are automatically filtered out during processing.
Which one should I use?
Have one lab, imaging report, or document?
Use Lab Import.
Have a full medical history or record pack from another clinic?
Use Open record import.
The goal is simple: you shouldn't have to manually rebuild an outside medical record just because it arrived as a stack of PDFs.
