Create a new Wellness Plan

  1. Go to Settings → Catalog & Pricing → Wellness Plans.

  2. Select New plan.

  3. Enter the basic plan information:

    • Plan name — The name staff and clients will recognize, such as Gold Wellness Plan.

    • Code — A unique internal code for the plan.

    • Price per cycle — The amount charged each billing cycle.

    • Billing cadence — Select how frequently the client is billed.

    • Term (billing cycles) — Enter the number of billing cycles in the plan. For example, 12 monthly cycles = a one-year plan. Leave this blank if the plan should renew indefinitely.

Add included benefits

Select Add benefit to define what is included with the plan.

Benefits can represent services provided during the plan, for example:

  • 2 wellness exams per plan year

  • 1 nail trim per month

  • Included preventive services or other eligible items

PawthosX tracks these benefits against the enrolled patient as they are used.

Set patient eligibility

Choose which patients may enroll:

Species: Canine, Feline, Avian, Rabbit, Reptile, Small Mammal/Rodent, or Other.

If no species restriction is selected, any species may enroll.

You can also set:

  • Minimum age in months

  • Maximum age in months

This allows practices to create plans specifically for puppies and kittens, adults, seniors, or other patient groups.

Configure member pricing

Use Member discount (%) if enrolled patients should receive an additional discount on items not already included as plan benefits.

PawthosX keeps this discount synchronized as a managed pricing rule. It can be viewed under Pricing Rules but is controlled from the Wellness Plan.

Renewal and client-facing terms

Use Auto-renew after the term completes to determine whether the plan automatically continues after its initial term.

Then complete:

  • Customer-facing description — Explain what the plan provides and who it is intended for.

  • Cancellation policy — Document the practice's cancellation and unused-benefit policy.

Finish

Review the plan configuration and select Create plan.

Once created, Wellness Plans are offered through patient enrollment. They are recurring subscription products and do not appear in the standard invoice bundle picker.
