Enviro+ devices are connected smart sensors built for monitoring refrigerators, freezers, and other cold storage units inside your hospital.

Enviro+ monitors:

  • Temperature stability – ensures vaccines, medications, and samples remain within safe ranges

  • Condition changes – detects when doors are left open, units are cycling abnormally, or cooling is failing

How to Set Up Enviro+

  1. Place the Enviro+ sensor inside the fridge, freezer, or cold storage unit you want to monitor.

  2. Power on the device and connect it to your secure WiFi.

  3. In ClinicOS, go to Admin Settings → Devices → Enviro+.

  4. Scan the QR code displayed on the device to link it.

  5. Assign the Enviro+ to a specific storage unit (e.g., Vaccine Fridge 1).

  6. Set alert thresholds for acceptable temperature ranges.

How Enviro+ Works in Daily Workflow

  • Real-time monitoring → data flows into ClinicOS Environmental Overlays and Admin dashboards.

  • Alerts → staff are notified if storage temps drift out of safe range.

  • Reports → PDF/CSV exports provide temperature logs for compliance audits.
